Do you have the day, month, year of his birth from the naturalisation certificate? What does the place of birth say in full?
I had a look at the Danish census online and couldn't find any family that matched his, but if you have the full birth date, I wouldn't mind having a look for his birth in the Danish archives.
Who do you have as his parents?
