I "found" where my family is from in S-H by seeing a birth location for a collateral member of the family on the 1930 US census. It does pay to look at collateral family.

Subject: [SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN-ROOTS] BIELENBERG_JUNGE
I am researching my Great Great Grandfather, Claus BIELENBERG, and his wife,
Elsabe JUNGE. The married couple eventually moved to Woodbury, Minnesota in
the 1860s and later died there.
Claus BIELENBERG was born May 7, 1835. His parents were Peter BIELENBERG
and Margaretha KNOOP and they may have lived in Krempe near Gluckstadt.
Peter BIELENBERG was born November 27, 1805. His parents were Johann
BIELENBERG and Anna (EGGE) and they may have lived in Kremdorf.
I don't know the birthdate of Anna EGGE, but her parents were Mathias EGGE
and Gesche PREVE.
Elsabe JUNGE was born Jan 9, 1836 to parents Albert JUNGE and Elsabe
SCHROEDER and they may have lived in Am Herzhorner Rhin near Gluckstadt.
I am hoping to confirm this information with church records from the area.
