Good morning.

I've begun to set up a Family History Mailing list at rootsweb.com. I don't
have many email addresses for family, so PLEASE, send me contact information
for all the Shadley Family relatives you have in your Address Book.

To send messages, simply hit reply and your message will go out to everyone
on the list. To send a new message, address it to:


People can subscribe to the list in mail mode by sending a message to
that contains the word

subscribe

and nothing else. If you prefer digest mode, send the command instead to
. To unsubscribe, send the command
"unsubscribe" to (if in mail mode) or
(if in digest mode.) To switch from one mode
to the other, unsubscribe from one and then subscribe to the other. There is
no "no mail" mode -- if you want messages to stop, simply unsubscribe.

I have posted some family history information at:
http://www.ankisolutions.com/genealogy.html including an experimental
version of my full Family Tree Maker files in HTML format (about 1200 web
pages). Check it out, let me know of any corrections or additions in your
branch.

I don't expect much volume on this list so there should not be a problem
with 'spam' and if it gets abused, I can set the list to 'moderate' and have
more control.
