I may be connected - I would need more info. My great-grandfather was Samuel Newton Silver, and the family has a photo of a Joseph Silver - presumably Samuel's brother. We know very little about Samuel's early years; we do know that he lived in Mayesburg, MO in or about 1911 and this photo of Joseph could have been taken about the same time. If anyone has any information on this Capt. Joseph B. Silver, it may be helpful to us.
