Subject: [SMITH-L] SMITH, Lewis Henry - 1835 CT to NJ

I'm looking for any possible connections to my gg grandfather, Lewis Henry
SMITH, born about 1835 in Connecticut. I don't know the specific town. He
then relocated to South Orange, New Jersey sometime before 1860 and married
Jane BROWN (related to the artist Asher DURAND of S. Orange). They had nine
children:

Charles D. SMITH b. 1862
Louisa J. b. abt 1864
Grace b. abt 1866
Lenora b. abt 1867
Jessie b. abt 1869
Daisy b. abt 1871
Emily b. abt 1873
Fanny b. abt 1874
Edward b. unknown

Any help would be appreciated.
