Hi all;
I want to apologize to all if this message is unsuitable for the mailing
lists. I hope that I am keeping within the guidelines of acceptable and
appropriate messages. If I have overstepped my bounds, please let me know
and I will be careful not do it again.
I am the Library coordinator for The International Internet Genealogical
Society. In case you havent heard of IIGS, it is an online genealogical
society started by RootsWeb to help genealogists all over the world with
their root diggin. The library is in the process of adding a new subject
category to its holdingsPersonal Surname Pages.
We would like to create links directly to the "Surname Listing Page" of
personal web pages that have searchable family trees. If you have your
family data online (in any form) you are invited (encouraged) to send me
the URL of your SURNAME page. However; please remember that because we
are linking directly to your surname page you will need to be sure you have
a link to your home page (and possibly an email address) so your site can
be navigated from our link. There is no cost for this. Your only
investment will be the time it takes you to send me your URL. In case you
would like to look the library over before sending your URL for inclusion,
you can find it at: <http://www.iigs.org./university/index.htm.en>
Because I send and receive a huge amount of email, please use "Library
Surname Page" in the subject header so I dont accidentally delete your
message.

IIGS-U Library Coordinator
