I'm with you Jane. Been looking for my husbands Smith's for 45 years and
have not made one dent.
I'll post some of them now. Asahel Smith b 1733 d September 18, 1779 in
Stoughton, Mass. m Sarah ?
children Lemuel Smith b March 13, 1768 Stoughton, Mass. m July 4, 1790

This information came from Norfolk Co. census for 1800.
He has brothers and sisters which I have, but I am interested in finding out
about Asahel Smith' parents and where they came from and his wife Sarah's
maiden name and family. Dot
