I'm looking for information on the family and ancestry of REV. GEORGE
NELSON SMITH born October 25, 1807 in Swanton, Vermont; m: July 04, 1830
in St.Albans, Vt.; He died April 05, 1881 in Northport, Michigan. His
father was JOHN SMITH and his mother was ESTHER AUSTIN.
He married ARVILLA ELMIRA POWERS, b: November 29, 1808 in St.Albans,
Vermont d: April 16, 1895 in Northport, Michigan.
George N. Smith was quite famous as an early pioneer in Michigan and
ministered to the Indians. I would like to find out more about his
