Charles,

I am pleased you answered my plea. With so little to go on but migration
tracking, I have to try every angle. Where my Archelus Smith originated
from is a mystery, but those names surrounding his history indicate Southern
states, i.e. South Caroline, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas and Arkansas.
Those names are Gossien, Derossett, Payne. I hope you keep up your "good
works".

I have no golden keys, am not a pro, just bored when it rains and gets too
cold to go to my workshop so i try to help folks with my junk files i
collected over many years.
sorry struck out on your john and archelus. we had an Archelus in our family
but he died as a child in ga.
