Hi there Michele,
I noted you SMITH posting re Co. Cavan, Ireland. Now for some specifics
my ggf was a Thomas Andrew Neil SMITH born about 1846 somewhere in Co.
Cavan. His parents were a Patrick Joseph SMITH and Ellen BRADY. Thomas
arrived here in Oz about 1860 at the age of 14 with a friend. Thomas
married and hsi family is as follows. His wife had been married to a
DUFFY previously and it would appear that the first two children were
from this marriage. This would then bring the naming pattern into
accord.

If you see anything in the useage of forenames that seems familar do not
hesitate to contact me. My ggf would have had siblings I am sure that
could have ended up like he, emigrating from Ireland to who know's
where.
