I am looking for Smith that lived in Florida around Ocala in the 1860s
an some of the surrounding areas.
My g.g. Grandfather Patrick W. smith lived in Ocala, Florida at a place
called Pats Island which is now part of the
Ocala National Forest.
I think they came from Mississippi around 1866/67. I dont know from
were in Miss.
My G. Grandpa Benjamin Franklin I believe that he was born in Miss.,
then they came to Florida. Were he married Princess Ann Howard around
1894 in Ocoee,Florida
I am also looking for the Howards in Florida. Not sure of were they come
from. I know that Princess Ann was born in Florida.
Patrick w. was married to Martha L. Carlisle /Carlile their children
were Joshua Kirby, Wesley/Westley and
Benjamin F.( My g.Grandpa).
Benjamin F. and Princess Ann their children were Georgie (My Grandma),
HenryJ, HarryU, and Agnes Frankie.
Georgie married Hal A. Hooks born in Georgia, but was raised in
Clermont, Florida
Any Help would be great.
