My gggrandfather Hugh B. Hand went from NC to Perry Co,TN and then to Marion
Co,AR. I think some of his brothers and sisters were in TN but the family
was so large that I haven't really tried to pin any of them down in TN. I
haven't seen any Newby in any of the info that I have on the Hands, sorry.
They could very well be with some branch of this family but I just don't
know. There is a Hand-L list and also a Hand Cousins group on Yahoo with
lots of info on the Hands. Shirley
