Harriett Katherine (Chastain) Moore married Arin Smith on October 27, 1892 in Webbers Falls, Indian Territory (Oklahoma).

She was previously married to David Frank Moore. They had lived in Paw Paw, Sequoyah Co., OK, Briartown & Porum in Muskogee Co., OK, and Sebastian and Crawford Counties, AR.

I have not been able to find anything on Arin Smith or his family, except the marriage record for Mrs. Moore and Arin Smith above. It showed that Arin would have been born abt 1856. Harriett was born 1857.

Family stories tell that Arin Smith had children when they married, and that Harriett's oldest child with Frank Moore - Marion Jasper Moore - ran away from his mother stepfather at a young age.

I've been researching this for several years, and need help in finding more about this Smith family.
