I'm so very sorry I did not make my last posting clear. My brick wall came from Miss. and went too FL. when he got to FL is when he changed his name to William Washington SMITH I think that when he lived in Miss. his last name was BEST but that is family lore. And as posted before the family Bible has it that his parents first names were Abram and Laura. That all I know about the parents. again sorry and thanks
