I don't know if my Smith family ever left Ga. I do know that my gg
grandmother Sara Lucinda "Lue" Smith Davis left there in the 1870's. They
were listed on the 1870 Fayette Co. Ga. census, then on the 1880 census they
were in Etowah Co. Al., Blount Co Al on the 1900 census, and 1910 she was in
Dekalb Co. Al where she died in 1918. Shirley
