I am looking for the parents and birth place in Va. of Henry C. Smith b. abt. 1803. I am totally convinced that his father`s was named William or James or James William. He has a one son named Henry Smith and the other one James William. On the 1850 census of Randolph County Ga. it has him being b. in Va. Thanks anyway. If I run across a William that was m. to Elizabeth Gardiner, I`ll hollow.

No, I don't have anymore information on William other than what I posted.
Wish that I did. I would feel wonderful if I could find something about his
other 12 children by Elizabeth Gardiner.
