If you know he was in the Military you can contact the personell office in St Louis. They will send you his file...

If you know he went to Florida do you know city and county in Fla? most newspapers on the net will go back as far as 1995 get an obit it will tell you where his daughters reside at the time of his death....get a death certficate the informant maybe wife or daughter will have had their address on the death certficate well I know my address and name are on the death certficates of the people I buried!!!!!! Anyway it is difficult to locate Smith's I know I am one in 3.5 billion but not impossible! you have way more info than you think and it is valuable...you can always have somone do a public records search on him as well!
