Seeking information on W. A. (Walter) SMITH (Smyth). b. ca 1854 in LA or KY. According to census info, Walter SMITH was born in LA, father in NY and mother in GA. Family info was Walter was born in KY. First found on 1880 census in Grimes Co, TX. Married Lizzie CHAPMAN in Bosque Co, TX in 1891. Died in Wise Co, TX in 1910. Have so far been unable to put him in either LA or KY prior to 1880. He used SMYTH on marriage license in 1891; other info has him as SMITH.
Hasn't anyone on the list run across this SMITH? Would appreciate any leads someone might have. Thanks
