I'm interested in your Josephus Smith. My g-g-g
Grandfather was Jacob W. Smith born in RI (according
to the 1850 census) in 1799. He also married a Conant
- Martha. He married in MA and later moved to CT. Do
you have any more information regarding the possible
parentage of Josephus or his wife Laura or of their
siblings?
