Hi, Marsha,

My husband's BRUCE line we have only traced to Albemarle CoVA in the mid- to
late-seventeen hundreds. His 4great-grandfather was William BRUCE m. Annie
(Nancy Anne) BALLARD abt. 1773, had sons: Vincent, Garland, and Joshua, and
daughters: Elizabeth, Mary, and Susannah. William's father was apparently
George BRUCE of Albemarle CoVA.

Joshua, b. Oct 23, 1778, Albemarle CoVA, d. Aug 29, 1865, Bland CoVA, m.
Sarah HEARN, b. Mar 8, 1783, Montgomery CoVA, d. Jan 19, 1857, Wythe CoVA.
They had sons: James, Isaiah, John, Josiah, William, Harvey, Noah, and
Enoch, and daughters: Anna, Susanna, Elizabeth, and Lydia.
