Hi. For the record... LEEs are an old family of Colonial Williamsdburg
area... I know because of their long standing connection to 'COBBS Hall' in
VA and also to our COBBE/COBBS/COBB line which started in the Colonial
Williamsburg and surrounding areas in VA as early as 1664. These LEEs, like
my COBBS/COBB line connects with Pocahantas and he family as well. Although
my direct line may have only had Pocahantas over for dinner and befriended
her and had a horse or two down at the Powhatan Village... it was my
ancestor's lines that intermarried with her descendents for sure. I have a
few mixed-blood women where at this point we do know what their tribal
affiliation is. Many I do and they are Cherokee Wolf Clan and Cherokee Bird
Clan and the SMITHs were Cherokee Bird Clan, ShawneeNapuchee, Naragansett,
Lenape, Muscogee, Creek, Calusa, Seminole, and Catawba.
