I am looking for any information to assist me with research into family.

I have traced my Great Grandmother as being one Lydia Smith, born in Salway Ash, Dorset in 1858. Father was George Smith, mother Esther Smith (Nee Raisin). First recorded in 1871 census as residing at Public House (Anchor?). If anyone has previous census details for 1861 and before I would be grateful.

Also grateful for any advice/guidence, since I'm new to this!
