Thanks for the info. I do know the Thomas Crain family was Janes parents. The 1850 census that shows Celiann--I have never been able to prove or disprove whether this was my Andrew , although I think it probably is given the locations. Andrew has been shown in several different sources to be born in either Kentucky (I think most likely) or Iowa. Andrew's son Thomas's death certificate says Iowa but all the census says Kentucky, either way I have had no luck in locating him in either state. If you have any suggestions, I would defnitely like to hear them, Andrew has been a brick wall for years. I do appreciate the help.
