I have decided to give up on searching for John Smith/Sarah Bland. That is, until, I can physically go to Monroe, Greenbrier and Fayette Counties in West Virginia.

I have not ruled out Jacob Smith as an ancestor. I refuse to think about my SMITH line anymore!
