Hi Ady.
I have found a FELTHOUSE on a map but no date when published. But it isn't
in my modern map book. It's S/W of Grindon. S/E of Ford & N/W of
Waterfall. It looks like a village as there are buildings shown. Hillhouse
is shown S/W of Upper Elkstone this one looks like a farm house. but
whether they're still there I would not know. On my survey map edition 1925
They are just out of the map.

Also on this map I'm interested to know my self it say's The Staffs &
Dby's boarder follow's the river between Grindon & Wetton I don't think
this is correct I believe it more to the East
Like Ashbourne just into Dby's also Thorpe, Hartington, Pilbury. Crowdecote
right on the boarder. & in Staffs Hollinclough, Longnor, Sheen Hulme End.
Would some one like to let me know on that one. Ady I'm sure more folk
closer to that area will let you know more. Ruth (West Australia)
