Hi Ruth,

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my query and for the info you
supplied.
I think I might be able to help with your query on your map - the Staffs /
Derbys boundary is basically the River Dove.
It would be interesting to know though if this border was always defined by
this rivers route, I wonder if anyone can give us the answer to that one.
