Hello Penny,
I have the BVRI 2nd edition, I must be honest and say that I have not found
many of my family on it. Although I did find one very important find that
was worth the money I paid for the BVRI.
It is very useful to other people though, I have had a lot of help over the
years and it's nice to be able to give a bit back.
The Staffordshire records are 421,036 birth and christenings and 128,327
marriages
Cheshire has 285,892 births and christenings and 51,607 marriages.
Hope this helps you decide.
Kind regards
Carroline
