Hello Joe,

I, too, cannot find them on Ancestry 1851. However, in case you have not
already got it, here he is on the 1841 census in Wolverhampton:

PRO Ref: HO107/1000/6, folio 27, page 8
Causeway, Little Bricklin Street

Ann RAY 16 Stover
Born in county Yes
Robert HOWARTH 25 Stone Mason
Born in county No

These 2 are down as a separate household living in the same house as a
Frederick TITTERTON, 30, Japanner and his family.
