Hi Listers,

My WALTON brick wall could I believe be resolved with access to the 1841
Staffordshire Census, which is none to simple from East Sussex!

Advice please on how to persuade some kind soul to look in the 1841 Census
for:

1. A WALTON family, consisting of at least:
James b. 1826 in Handford & George b. 1831 in Stoke, possibly with their
father John WALTON (b. 1780) and/or their mother Ermine WALTON (b. c. 1782).
However by then John may have a 2nd wife, who may be the mother of said
James & George. Difficult to say exactly where to look other than taking
into account that George was born in Stoke and their sister Elizabeth (see
below) married at St Peter's, Stoke in August 1839, when living at Lane Delf
(or Delph)

2. A CRUTCHLEY family, consisting of:
Daniel CRUTCHLEY b. 1817 in Newcastle, Staffs and Elizabeth nee WALTON b.
1821 in Handford, possibly with their firstborn John (Ambrose) CRUTCHLEY,
who was born around the time of the 1841 Census. They should be found in
LONGTON or one of its satellite villages. However, they married (as above)
when living in Lane Delf(ph).

I really would be most grateful for help
