My EDGEs come from the Horton, Leek area. John EDGE researched the family to the year 1300 and indicated that he thought the family was at The Acres before residing in Horton. His research ended in 1904 when he presented the material to the William Salt Library. I have been trying for quite some time to locate The Acres and have just noted that in the Probate, Will area of Ancestry a persons location has been of Acres. If anyone can give me a resource for locating this area or if someone knows where it is I would appreciate it. I am assuming that it is an area close to Horton or within the boundaries.
