Hi List, how interesting to see that other listers have been unable to find relatives in the census using Ancestry , I have a family I guessed must have emigrated as I can only find them on the 1871 census on that site, but will now check on Findmypast..thank you for that tip., and several others from the Enville area that are simply not to be found at all.
Also from my own experience having just renewed my Ancestry subscription on the cheapest UK tariff, I find I cannot access data that I could previous to renewal, ie the incoming passenger lists as one example, which personally have been very useful to me as many of my family were miners and travelled all over the world.
So I'm now getting less for my money, which isn't cheap by any standard.
