I added the reunion info (with your contact info) to the website ... thanks
for sharing. I do hope y'all have good turnouts and great times! Let us know
how they go ....
For the Stampers in Arizona ... would anyone object to a reunion in the
fall; and be willing to attend the reunion if it were held in the Tucson
area. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated .... So far, there are
about ten contacts in Arizona .....

Betty ...
Just so I know, for sure, ... are you referring to William Stamper and Mary
Daniel?
A little bit ago, I came across this reference ... sadly, no first name ....
LARGE SLAVEHOLDERS OF 1860 and AFRICAN AMERICAN SURNAME MATCHES FROM 1870 by
Tom Blake, 2001-2005 ... url ...
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ajac/ lists one
Stamper from Franklin County.
Can you share a bit on this family? I know how disappointing it can be not
to have family info included ... sometimes, it sort of feels like they
didn't exist; but knowing better. Maybe between everyone, we could come up
with a bit on this family. What counties surround Franklin County?

Dorothy ...

may have seen the page before.
I will keep my fingers crossed that someone comes across a bit of info that
helps. I have been looking; but nothing yet. I know you have been looking
for a long time for this info....
