I'm Fred Morris. Most if not all of my family lines have been in easterners KY for over 200 years, so I'm related to most families who have been there for awhile. A number of family lines originated in Montgomery Co. NC or Lee Co, VA in the late 1700's early 1800's. My Mother's parents were John and Margaret (Pence) Maloney. John Maloney's Grandparents were John Kidd & Perlina Rose. These folks were from Wolfe County KY, most from Cave Branch of Holly Creek.
My Grandparents were Louis and Callie (Pelfrey) Morris. Callie's Parents were Daniel Boone & America (Bryant) Pelfrey. Callie's Grandparents were
Hiram Bryant & Elizabeth Hollon.
I'm retired from the Federal Gov. and live near Atlanta GA now. We have a Family Reunion the Sunday before Laborer Day each year. Anyone that is interested are invited, just let me know if you are interested. Sam and Faye Stamper usually come and must be related to some of you Stampers.
One of my Great Uncles (Maloney) married a Stamper.
I may not use my AOL E-mail much longer.

Subject: [STAMPER-FAMILY-PROJECT] Roll Call ... March 2011
Hello to everyone on both mailing lists.
For the past couple weeks, I have been working on the Stamper Family Project
ebsite .. I had not been aware of all the broken links until I started going
hrough the site page by page. All the links in the 'STATES' section, ... should
e working. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.
It has been a while since a roll call has been done. The Stamper Family Project
ailing list has 121 subscribers. I am not sure how many are subscribed to the
tamper-mailing list ..... :- )) There have been a few new cousins subscribed to
he list recently. Welcome to everyone! I would like to let them know that they
re among some of the most helpful fellow researchers on both lists; and are
ore than happy to share family information. I encourage you to hit 'reply
ll'; so your introduction will go to everyone on both lists; in case there are
ndividuals subscribed to only one list.
If you can take a few minutes and introduce yourself; giving us a bit of your
ineage back a few generations. Mention any 'brick walls' you may have; along
ith any new discoveries you may have made.
Take care .. hope to see everyone checking in .... !
