Hi,
My family line:
Hiram Stamper and Martha Kelley
Marion Stamper and Martha Stewart
Joseph Stamper and Malinda Phipps
Joshua Stamper and Mary Polly Blevins
Johnathan Stamper and Mary Polly Davis
I am DAR through the Stewart line, haven't proven my Stamper line.
Actively seeking information on Civil War Stampers....
Looking for information on Joseph Stamper's service in Civil War, if any.
Traced one Joseph to prison camp in Louisville, KY February 20, 1865. I
believe he was a son of Joshua mentioned above.

Hello to everyone on both mailing lists.
For the past couple weeks, I have been working on the Stamper Family
Project website .. I had not been aware of all the broken links until I
started
going through the site page by page. All the links in the 'STATES' s
ection,
... should be working. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have
caused anyone.
It has been a while since a roll call has been done. The Stamper Family
Project mailing list has 121 subscribers. I am not sure how many are
subscribed to the Stamper-mailing list ..... :- )) There have been a few
new
cousins subscribed to the list recently. Welcome to everyone! I would
like to let
them know that they are among some of the most helpful fellow researchers
on both lists; and are more than happy to share family information. I
encourage you to hit 'reply all'; so your introduction will go to
everyone on
both lists; in case there are individuals subscribed to only one list.
If you can take a few minutes and introduce yourself; giving us a bit of
your lineage back a few generations. Mention any 'brick walls' you may
have;
along with any new discoveries you may have made.
Take care .. hope to see everyone checking in .... !
