Hi,
I am new to researching geneology but would like to have more accurate
information to give to my son and my nieces and nephews.
My name is Linda S. Stamper Wallace:
d/o Benjamin Harrison Stamper, Jr. (s/o Benjamin Harrison Stamper [b
5-21-1889 d. 11-20-1968] md. 1908 to Susan Jane Arrowood b. 9-14-1889
d.8-28-1922]) and Flossie M. Collins Stamper (d/o Robert Collins and
Sarah
Hardigree). Both of my parents are now deceased.
My dad's siblings were Garrett Stamper; Vicey Stamper; some of his
half-siblings were: J.B. (I think his name was John B.) Stamper, Price
Stamper, Susie/Susan Stamper, ...
He also had an uncle named Greenberry Stamper and an aunt named Jalia
Stamper-Turner.
My dad was born in Breathitt County KY in December 1914. He was a coal
miner, both in South Eastern Kentucky and South Western Virginia. He
served
in the Air Force during WWII.
Thanks and God Bless all of you,
Linda

Hello to everyone on both mailing lists.
For the past couple weeks, I have been working on the Stamper Family
Project website .. I had not been aware of all the broken links until I
started going through the site page by page. All the links in the
'STATES'
section, ... should be working. I apologize for any inconvenience this
may
have caused anyone.
It has been a while since a roll call has been done. The Stamper Family
Project mailing list has 121 subscribers. I am not sure how many are
subscribed to the Stamper-mailing list ..... :- )) There have been a
few
new cousins subscribed to the list recently. Welcome to everyone! I
would
like to let them know that they are among some of the most helpful
fellow
researchers on both lists; and are more than happy to share family
information. I encourage you to hit 'reply all'; so your introduction
will
go to everyone on both lists; in case there are individuals subscribed
to
only one list.
If you can take a few minutes and introduce yourself; giving us a bit
of
your lineage back a few generations. Mention any 'brick walls' you may
have; along with any new discoveries you may have made.
Take care .. hope to see everyone checking in .... !
