Becki, thanks so much for your kind words. I believe there's no real money to be made from genealogies -- not enough readers. So the only reason to publish a book is to share my research.

I have a Michael B. Stoneburner, who I assume should be Michael Absalom, b. Deerfield Twp, Morgan Co., OH, 14 Nov 1841, son of William Absalom Stoneburner, b. Morgan Co., OH 1820; d. bef 2 Feb 1884; m. Muskingum Co., OH 4 Mar 1838 Margaret "Peggy" Leffler, b. Muskingum Co., OH 17 Sep 1818; d. Morgan Co., OH, 8 Feb 1860. You'll find the family in the 1850 census in York Twp, Morgan Co., under the name Wm Stinchcomb, and in 1860 in Deerfield Twp, Morgan Co., OH.

William was the son of John Michael Steinbrenner, b. Loudoun Co., VA, 8 Aug 1793; d. York Twp, Morgan Co., OH, 6 Feb 1865; m. New Jerusalem Church, Lovettsville, Loudoun Co., VA, 6 May 1813, Elizabeth Pletcher, b. Frederick Co., MD, 4 Apr 1791; d. Morgan Co., OH, 12 Mar 1864.

If this looks like the right family, I have the Stoneburner lineage back another 6 generations, which I'm happy to send you.
