I am hoping to find information on this list. The only information I have on George's surname is the pronounciation from my mother-in-law. I have spelled it as she says it but believe it may belong to this list as she was very young when she last had contact with this family.

George Simenski was born abt 1848, probably in Germany. He married Lena Wegner/Wagner abt 1879, probably in the Berlin, Germany area. My family is through Lena's brother, Johann Wagner, who is of note in Berlin in 1880 when a child was born; the child immigrated abt 1900 with his mother, Johann's wife. It is not known whether Lena and George immigrated at the same time but all of the above settled in Sioux City, IA. They are said to have died there and are buried there but I could not find any record of George and Lena at the cemetery where the rest of the family is buried. Any suggestions, even with possible surname spelling variations would be helpful.
