There are two published lists of Burbage's monuments and tombstones. The
first was done in 1822 by Sir Thomas Phillipps (monuments only) and
reprinted by the Wiltshire Records Society in 2000. The second was done
much later (1960s?) by the Wiltshire Family History Society and is
available from them on microfische. The latter will include those recently
removed plus those destroyed in the 1970s.
The former is stilll in print price £20 or can be viewed at local libraries
in Wiltshire. The second is also still available from the WFHS and although
I have a copy, the society has requested that its members honour their
copyright by not supplying details from any of their publications. It can
however be viewed by visiting their centre in Devizes and probably there is
a copy at the WSRO (although I'd check before travelling).

PS what are your views in the WFHS copyright statement? My guess is that
they are so "frustrated" (I'm being polite) by the abuse of their copyright
(example of which we have seen in this group - including by myself) that it
will probably lead to most of their future publications being only made
available on the web on a "pay to view" basis. Every copy of faamily
history magazine I have seen includes a small add offering to search the
1881 census - plus of course Devon, Norfolk and Warwick in 1851 - for a
fee. Are these people criminals, chancers, do-gooders, or just thick?
Should family history researchers be given free access to anything they
want or does the past abuse of copyright and the availabiliy of more cost
effective charging mechanism on the web mean that in future researching
will become more costly for those who do not live locally?
You have to admit that copyright is heavily abused (as I know from the
abuse I have experienced from my own web site) so where does the future lie?
I would be interested to hear your views
