Hi Susan
I shall recfrain from making any comments other than to say if you type
"dandelion pissabed" into Google you will see that it is a common knickname
for a dandelion and not retricted to Canada. One source even says that
dandelions were introduced into the "New World" by European settlers and
another says it is a ;-

Diuretic - Dandelion leaf is used as a diuretic and to treat
<../disorders/high_blood.htm>high blood pressure by reducing the volume of
fluid in the body.

so there you have the meaning.
