Dear Colin
I might have been very interested, except that I have a CD of the Wilts 1851
census transcript already! It was produced by Pat Wilson, Alan Marryweather
and Michael Gwilliam. It seems quite good as long as one remembers that one of
the sections, including Burbage and nearby has a fault. The birthplace entries
are all one place adrift. Not the county, just the village. By going into the
neighbours search one can quickly spot the sections at fault by looking at a
different county entry. (Sussex Salisbury stands out a mile as wrong!!) I have
found it very useful finding where all the Burbage people went after 1841 and
where they were before 1861 etc.
You already have several folk interested. Im not a bit surprised.
Big responsibility for one small cat!
Sue
