Could anyone please let me know if they have tied down the father of Sarah Hope's children, all born between 1795 and 1810 ? I know it must have been a Noyes, leading descendants to call themselves Hope, Noyes, Hope Noyes, Hope alias Noyes, Noyes alias Hope, Noyes Hope etc. at various times over the next 100 years. Individuals and families changing from one to the other seemingly at random. I believe there was a theory that it was a Thomas Noyes, but can't remember why it was thought to be him.
Was Sarah the wife of Thomas Phillip Hope( nee Sarah Tarrant) or was she a daughter of Thomas Phillip Hope from his previous marriage ?
