Hello All

Those few of you who subscribe to receiving update notifications will
already know this but as it is a major update I decided that this time I
would inform rootsweb users as well. (You can subscribe via the link on the
Home Page)

John Frivance has kindly supplied a transcript of the 1841 census which has
been added to the site. We now have 1841, 1851, 1881, 1891 and 1901 census
transcripts and they are fully searchable!. With all of the BDM data on the
site, how many parishes have so much information available?. Does anyone
fancy transcribing 1861 or 1871? - If you live in the UK I can lend you A3
photocopies if you promise to return them.

I have also started the task of integrating the two sites and hope it meets
with your approval. Although the navigation and appearance has changed the
data remains the same and the search facility incorporates both sites.

The next areas to fully integrate are "Stories"; "Photos"; "Wills" and with
winter coming on I hope to start the task sooner than later.

Now where was that bottle of wine?
