Hi
I have traced one of my relatives marrying into a family by the name of
Young who were living in Morley in the 1901 census. I have subsequently
tracked down their current relatives living in Western Australia . They have
said that their GGrandparents were believed to have a fish and chip shop in
Morley before they went to Australia (believed to be around 1920s) . The
people concerned were Joseph and Harriet Young who in 1901 were living at
25 Foster Street, Morley. In 1901 he was shown a bricklayer. Does any one
have any knowledge of such a shop in that area or know where I might find
out about it.
