Kath,

Thanks for the information provided. Just one question though where is or was Bankshill Weslyan Chapel?

Many thanks,

Spencer

Ihave just had a quick search through my own records for your Lister family - without very much success I am afraid - this tiny bit of info - you probably already have !

The baptism of Derek Lister is recorded on 26th February 1937 at Bankshill Weslyan Chapel - sonb of Clifford & Sarah Ann of 10, Bank Street.  (His birth was noted as 26th January 1937)

  Hi,
Â
I’m currently researching my family tree the Lister family and trying to find living relatives I may have.  I am the Grandson of Clifton Lister who married Sarah Mallinder in 1923 they had three children Albert Lister (who never married), Frederick Lister & Derek Lister (my Dad) they lived in Bank Street, Morley and Clough Street, Morley.  I know Frederickmarried a lady called Gladys and had two daughters Frederick worked for the Lindley family at Laneside Farm, Churwell until his death in 1976ish.
Â
Also, Cliftonwas married before to an Annie Armitage in 1915 and had a daughter called Mabel born in 1916.
Â
If anyone could help me in my research in the family or has any information on any possible living relatives of the concerned family members, please do get in touch.  However small your information may be it will be received with much appreciation.
Â
Many thanks,
Â
Spencer
