Hello,

I'm searching for one of my grandmother's husbands. His last name was Cochran, first name unknown. Everyone just called him Cochran. He was probably from Gadsten AL. She was from Anniston, and her previous husband, Henry Law Davis previously lived in Gadsten also. She was Lena Mae Carter, married HLD and after his death, married Mr. Cochran. They may have had a store or other retail business in Gadsten and may have owned and run a movie theatre in Meridian, Miss. I believe they divorced in the mid to late 1930's, but not sure exactly when. All this was in the mid to late twenties to mid thirties, although HLD may have died in the late 19-teens or very early 1920's.
Pretty slim, I know, and those years are kinda blurry in my research, not many records found yet. Can't find marriage, divorce or death certs for any of them.
