Hi Esse-

I'm not Kathy, but I may be able to clear up a couple of things for you.

1) There is no "official USGW P Census Project." The incorporated one
was severed from the project 1 May 2000. Ron Eason's election as
Southeast/Mid-Atlantic Region CC Representative had no effect on the
relationship between the census project he is involved with and the
USGWP. The other census project was a part of the USGWP Archives. Since
they separated from the Archives they have not asked to be recognized by
the USGW Project as a Special Project. When the links to both of these
census projects were added to the USGWP site, it did not imply
recognition of either project as the "official" one.

2) If the Board approves a reciprocal consent agreement it does not
imply a change in relationship between the USGWP and either census
project. It only means that the USGWP and the Census Project, Inc. would
not object to each others servic mark applications.

3) For some reason the PTO has suspended action on the Census Project,
Inc.'s application. This may or may not have anything to do with our
application or Linda's application.

4) The PTO has not found any conflict between our application and
Linda's application. (At least not so far.)
