Good thinking Jim, that's another possibility. I think we can rule out the
Ada STUBBS born in 1900 though, I found her on the 1901 census - RG13/3354
Folio 26 Pages 11 and 12

Hannah STUBBS, Head, Wid. 63, born Buglawton, Cheshire
Fred STUBBS, Son, M, 26, born Crewe, Cheshire
Delia STUBBS, Daur.in Law, M, 27, born Yorkshire
Mary STUBBS, Daur. S, 23, born Crewe, Cheshire
Ada STUBBS, Grand-daur., 5 months, born Haslington, Cheshire
Agnes EWING, Lodger, S, 45, born West Derby, Lancs.

I reckon the 1904 Ada is a definite possibility. I think I found Edith
Annie STUBBS on the 1901 census living with her parents so I don't think she
had been previously married. Perhaps Ada was the daughter of Frank Henry
YOXALL anyway, Ada born in 1904, Frank Henry YOXALL and Edith Annie STUBBS
getting married in 1905, I've found this sort of thing happening quite a few
times where the couple have decided to get married after the birth of a
child - he would probably have been up for maintenance anyway.

All supposition at present but worth keeping in mind.
